My concept you may ask, County Crier, what
is that?
County Crier is a Cultural wesite.
What, is a Cultural website?
It is a website devoted to the promotion of
Education, Art and the Culture of Maritime people.
Maritime people, who are they?
Residents of the Maritime Provinces are Maritime
people.
Maritime Provinces are?
The three smallest provinces, located in the
second largest country in the world, Canada.
On the globe, North America.

County Crier is located in the Province of
New Brunswick
In the City of Miramichi.
We are a river city and coastal community,
ethnically diverse.
County Crier
has intended, to show you, our traditional
lifestyle and culture.
Past times and history here are still visable
and tourism
has replaced most of the Historical uses of
the River. The first
buisness's established where by Scottish
Land Developer and Industrialist, William Henry Davidson with partner, John Cort in the Year 1765. Establishing the first
area land grant of one thousand acres. Fishery and Lumbering was their trade. Still much the same today 2003.
With such diversity in popuation it is not
hard to see the how unique this culture really is.
County Crier is designed to specifically promote
our uniqe Culture, Maritime Literature and our unique blend of Maritime Music.
Squire the County Crier would like to establish
the total concept while at the same time keeping an Educational perspective.

Squire is Editor and the Scribe of the
website. He is a proud Maritimer and an even prouder Miramichier.(That is what they call us here,honestly!) He loves
his region and culture and would like to be your Educator of such a culture.
