Until SEPT. 7, Tuesday Fourteen local
artist & members of the Miramichi Art Core, are pleased to announce that for the third year, their work will be on display
and for sale at the Gallery located at Ritchie Wharf. Gallary opens at 1:00pm and there is no admission fee, so come see
all different mediums of art and have a chance to speak to one of the local artist. _________________________________________________________________________________________________
The New7Wonders of Nature Campaign
is now on the home stretch and Miramichiers, NBer's and Canadians alike are being called upon to show their support and
vote for The Bay of Fundy. Boasting the Highest Tides in the entire world, a globally diverse
marine ecosystem and world-renown geology & paleontology, The Bay of Fundy is now one of
the elite, 28 Official Finalists in the global election. The Bay of Fundy has moved
from being one of 440 worldwide contestants in the early campaign phases, to becoming Canada’s ONLY remaining
contestant. Being one of the global finalist is a HUGE honour in itself and some of the other finalists
include The Amazon, The Great Barrier Reef, The Grand Canyon and The Galapagos. When all is said and
done, over one billion votes are expected to be cast and the winners will be announced in November of 2011. This
contest offers all of us, the opportunity to support one of our iconic natural wonders and everyone is encouraged to cast

Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to those
residents in the Renous area. If you would like to volunteer and help out those in need, please contact Linda

Starting June 15th you can walk
with Mango! The Mango group is a walking group that will meet every Tuesday at 6:30pm at
Strawberry Marsh which is near the water treatment plant in Miramichi. Everyone
is welcome to come out to walk to enjoy the weather and the beautiful scenery of Miramichi. _________________________________________________________________________________________________

SEPT. 2, Thursday The 2nd Annual Golf Scramble
for young entrepreneurs and young professionals! Register individually or make your own teams of 4! Please note
that this is also one of the fundraising events for the network so every registration helps MYPIE make a difference in the
region.
Registration will start at 1:00pm at the Miramichi Golf and Country Club, it will be 18 Holes with shot-gun start, followed

SEPT. 4, Saturday The Harvest Jubilee
Concert will be held at James M Hill Theatre, featuring: James Morrison, Accordian Extraordinaire - Roger Lanteigne, Susan
butler and The Fiddling Queen - Matilda Murdoch! Also joining them will be Maurice Fleming, Gary Bulmer, Eddie MacNeil,
Elemer MacDonald, Jimmy Lawlor, Eugene Somers. The concert will begin at 7:30pm and since there was a sellout
crowd last year, you can get your tickets early at The Books Inn, Bills Kwik Way, The Newcastle Farmers Market and The Stitching

SEPT. 12, Sunday Miramichi Hoops has
partnered with Empire Studio 5 Miramichi to offer a special presentation of the hit comedy “Shrek Forever After”
at 12:00pm. Tickets are $7 each and are currently on sale at Tyra’s Seafood and Dairy Bar, Books Inn and all Kingston’s
Petro Canada locations. Tickets will also be available for purchase at Empire Studio 5 Miramichi on Aug. 31, Sept. 4,
7 & 11 during the early show. All proceeds from ticket sales will support the '2nd Annual University Hoops
Showcase on the River' to be hosted by Miramichi Hoops from Oct. 1 - 3. The 2010 tournament will feature 11 men’s
and women’s university basketball teams competing in a total of 17 games at the MVHS gym. For more information

Parkinson Chapter would like you to lace up your sneakers, bring a friend and join them for their 3rd annual Parkinson Superwalk,

with the walk beginning at 1:00pm. There will be a Silent auction, door prizes and musical entertainment provided by

SEPT. 14, Tuesday The Alzheimer Society,
in partnership with the New Brunswick Department of Wellness, Culture, and Sport, and with support from the Senior and Healthy
Aging Secretariat, is proud to announce that renowned Alzheimer’s disease specialist Dr. Jack Diamond will be stopping
in Miramichi New Brunswick to present the latest in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia research and discuss how
living a healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of developing dementia. " The Healthy Brain" presentations offered
by Dr. Diamond will be held at the Miramichi Seniors Citizen Home at 11:30am -1:00pm and an evening presentation will be held
at the Rodd Miramichi River in the Sevogie Room from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. All ages are invited to attend to learn how they

18, Saturday The Ladies of the Miramichi are invited to a LIVE Simulcast with renowned Bible Teacher and
Author - Beth Moore to be held at the Newcastle United Baptist Church, beginning at 10:00am. The day will start with
a pre-worship service and then the live feed from Chicago Illinios will start at 11:00am. Seating is limited and ladies
are encouraged to a commitment as early as possible. The cost to attend is only $25, which includes a linch to be catered
in the church facility. Beth Moore's teachings have affected woman all over the world, with her depth and substance

SEPT. 30, Thursday The Arthritis Society is
presenting the Arthritis Self Management Program, "When Arthritis Strikes, We Show You How to Fight Back".
The Arthritis Self-Management Program will help you take control of the disease and it is held over a six week period, in
weekly two-hour sessions. The course helps you learn how to manage pain and fatigue, handle stress, eat healthy and
exercise with arthritis and the classes begin in Miramichi on Thursday, Sept. 30 at the Conference Room in the Miramichi Hospital,
Level 3, Room 3006 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Pre-registration is required as space is limited and the cost of 6-week program
