The annual Sugar Bush event will be held at Kings Landing Historical Settlement during the next two weekends, March 20-21 and March 27-28 from 8:30am - 4:00pm each day. A pancake breakfast will be served from 8:30am -2:30pm all four days. The cost is $7.75 per adult and $4.75 per child. Kings Landing has many activities planned each day, including visits to the farm, traditional cooking and life skills in two historic homes; magic shows; horse-drawn wagon rides and lots of music. The highlight for many will be the 19th-century Sugar Bush demonstration in the village, with the sweet taste of maple candy on the snow! Admission fees to the village activities are $10 per family, $5 per adult and $2.50 per child with the Maple candy on the snow sold for $2 per stick. This is a fundraising event to support York Sunbury Ground Search & Rescue and has become a spring tradition at Kings Landing. Living well with Mango - Horizon Health Network. The program is a series of 8 weekly presentations on a variety of health topics by different professionals (Nurses, dietitians, physiotherapist etc) including regular weigh-ins and a daily food and activity journal. The drama troupe of St. James and St. John United Church is proud to present a dessert theatre entitled “Rock Your Blues Away – Cranston High’s 38th High School Reunion”. Onstage three evenings with show time for all performance set at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm for some pre-show entertainment.
