Honourable Shawn Graham & Mike Allen MP for Tobique - Mactaquac announced that the Village of Blackville has been awarded funds under the Canada-New Brunswick infrastructure program in the amount of $1,106,680. With the Village's share,total cost of the project will be $ 1,656,367 . The sewer extension includes Chuch Street, Lockstead Road & McLaggan Drive. Also in attendance was Mayor Hollowood & Council, MP Mike Allen, MP Rick Brewer & Minister Foran. Approximately 75 people attended the announcement.
