LIFETIME
SPONSORS Many MSA members and
supporters provide significant financial gifts at intervals over time that deserve special encouragement and recognition.
All such contributions will be consistently recorded, and Lifetime Sponsors will be recognized and honoured as they attain
specified levels of support on a cumulative basis. The first $1,000 will be directed to the MSA Endowment Fund to establish
Life Member status, with all additional amounts to support MSA programs as the donor may designate. These programs may include
the Miramichi Smolt Study, Miramichi Riverstock, Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre, MSA general operations or the Endowment
Fund. Recognition of Lifetime Sponsors will be by presentation of Classic Salmon Fly Lapel Pins and Shadow Box displays as
the following levels of support are attained. Advance commitments to each level will be acknowledged with a Framed Pledge
Certificate.

Annual
Event Donors Each year MSA fund-raising
events get special support from donors of money, prizes, professional services and volunteer time that go beyond the ordinary.
These contributions will be acknowledged in event programs, and Annual Donor Certificates will be presented at three levels
- Bronze $250; Silver $500; Gold $1,000 - and and will be credited to Lifetime Sponsor levels. Planned Giving There are several ways to provide lifetime support for MSA’s conservation mission. Some of the most effective
means for many people may be through life insurance policies, asset gifts such as securities or real estate, income annuity
plans or bequests in Wills. In all such Planned Giving initiatives donors should consult and rely upon independent professional
advice. The MSA will closely follow specified instructions to ensure that intentions are properly fulfilled. To appropriately
acknowledge Planned Gifts, the Salar Society has been established. Each member of this new society will be presented with
a unique Silver Salar Lapel Pin. As well, framed certificates will be awarded to recognize the financial values of the Planned
Giving commitments.
