UPDATE FOR OLD HOME WEEK 2010
Meetings continue to be held monthly.
The next meeting is Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at the Tabusintac Community Hall.
We are still looking for people to head up various committees. Please
make the effort to come out and lend a hand.
Picnic Tables will be available for
rent from Sunday to Friday of Old Home Week at the cost of $10 a table. The tables can be used by those
selling crafts, showing their wares, those looking to Fundraise, etc. Please see Sylvia Harding at 779-8144
to rent a table.
On the first and last Saturday the Tabusintac
Country Market will be held at the tent. Tables can be rented from market manager Gail Savoy. Trailer

Travel trailers - $595 + HST per week or $400 minimum up to 4 days.
Hardtops
- $400 + HST per week
Delivery charges will be charged on distance.
Damage deposit required for all rentals - $500
- will be refunded/returned if trailer is returned if trailer is in satisfactory condition.
Reservation deposit at time
of booking - $200 - non-refundable.
Trailers are to be returned "clean" with holding tank empty. Family
Day The organizers of Family Day are looking for donations
of prizes - big and small - to help make their day a success. Examples of prizes fromprevious days included a bike, potholders,
toothpicks, toys, tools, figurines, TVs, etc.

What we need are more volunteers. Please let one of the executive members
know if you are interested in helping out. If there is a specific event your interested in, tell us. It doesn't mean you
have to head that committee but you can be a part of it.
Anyone interested in bar tending at the dances please call Myles Harding at 779-1889
or Benno Schafer at 779-4790.
If interested in running a cash register or
working at the door at the dance, please call Gail Savoy at 779-8045.
Gail Savoy will also be booking bands for the dances and overseeing the booking of breakfasts,
lunches and suppers. If a community group is interested in hosting a meal please call 779-8045 or email gsavoy@nbnet.nb.ca
The times for breakfasts are 7:30 to 10:30a.m. each day. This is a set time and will
not be changed.
Lunches 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and suppers 4 to 6 p.m.
Tabusintac Old Home Week is a celebration and sharing of local heritage.
Plan
to attend the first week of August 2010, "where all roads lead home".
Come and meet old friends
in the early morning or at noon under the BIG TENT. There are planned breakfasts each morning and light lunches at noon
each day. If you have a boat bring it along and check out one of the nicest Marinas around. Golf any one? Bring your golf
clubs for the planned Golf tournament. Rafting anyone? This is another event everyone is talking about, so get your pens and
paper out and start designing your raft so it can be built for the Raft Race.
